FAQ's
1.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes,
please purchase your license before the day of the trip.
2. Do you provide drinks & food?
I will provide water but please bring a
small cooler for anything additional you might want.
3. Do I need my own fishing gear?
No, I will provide all gear needed
for the trip. You may bring your own if you like though.
4. Do you guarantee catching fish?
Yes. BUT, If you must go even though I
recommend not going (high wind, etc..) I will not guarantee
fish. There are tough days of course but we generally catch some
even on the toughest days.
5. Will you guarantee a limit?
No! Limits are often caught but never
guaranteed. Crappie patterns can change by the hour and although
the limit is generous it does not represent the average daily
catch.
6. Do you fish with jigs or minnows?
Both.
I am an avid jig fisherman but I am not about to pass up the
opportunity to see a customer catch fish if it takes minnows to
do this...
7. Do you clean the fish?
Yes I
will fillet the fish and put the fillets in zip-lock bags ready
to freeze for no additional cost for this service, no
matter how many fish you have.
8.
What if the weather is bad?
We
will reschedule if needed
9. Do you offer discounts?
Yes,
I offer discounted trips to those people who call me and want to
go the same day, assuming I am free. I will not book trips in
advance for discounts. The only way to get this is to call me
the day you want to go and if I am not already booked I will
take you.
10. What is my advantage of hiring you
versus another guide?
I
don’t just guide on the weekends or on my vacation time, I
guide full time and depend on catching fish & earning your
repeated business. When I am not guiding I am finding new
fishing spots. I don’t live in another city, I live right here
at Cedar Creek Lake. I can see the lake conditions from my back
door. If the lake is too rough the morning of the trip I can
save you the drive time by calling you before you leave. If
it’s storming in Dallas but its ok here I can let you know to
come on out. I also get very current fishing reports from other
anglers here on the lake. When the fishing is really hot at a
particular spot I know about it. These are just some of the
advantages I believe I have to offer you. Give me a call and we
will set up your fun fishing trip.
11. A two week notice is required to
cancel trips.
